Dr Malik's clinical interests are in the assessment of chest pain, shortness of breath, and hypertension. He has specialist interest in coronary artery disease (the cause of angina) and its treatment with simple and complex coronary angioplasty including rotablation and chronic total occlusions (CTOs). In addition, with increasing treatments being made available for valve disease and stroke, Dr Malik performs ASD, PFO and TAVI procedures.
Dr. Malik trains undergraduate medical students, post graduate doctors and consultants, and is also a proctor for PFO closure, paralvular leak closure and TAVI procedure.
