Cardiothoracic Surgery Course
Focusing on the interface of art, science and medicine, this clever and resourceful museum is fascinating. The museum's heart is Sir Henry Wellcome's collection of medical curiosities (saws for amputation, forceps through the ages, amulet etc) in the Medicine Man gallery, which illustrate the universal fascination with health and the body across civilisations. In the Being Human gallery, interactive displays and provocative artworks are designed to make you ponder the human body and new forms of medical knowledge.
The cutting edge 3D view of the Wellcome Collection provides a wonderful insight into our stunning venue for our 2025 course.
Wellcome Collection is located in the heart of London, has outstanding transport links, and excellent hotels and restaurants nearby.
The state of the art Henry Wellcome auditorium has 154 fixed seats and a flat platform at the top for wheelchair users. We have allocated 2 premium sponsor presentation slots as shown on the schedule. Sponsor presentations will be recorded along with the other lectures and placed in the members’ area ensuring good exposure to content well beyond the 2024 event. Our theatre will feature state-of-the-art AV facilities with 4-5 fixed cameras for recording podium presentations as well as the interactive sessions.

Event registration and industry workshops will be held in this spacious room which is adjasent to the William's lounge.
Sponsor stands & event catering will be available in the William’s Lounge. This area is conveniently located adjacent to the theatre and Dale Room (registration). Other features include a self-service cloakroom. A small prayer/faculty breakout room is also available here.
